# What Are RWAs?

Real-world assets (RWAs) are tangible or intangible assets that hold value in the physical world but can be represented digitally on a blockchain. These assets can be tokenized as either fungible or non-fungible tokens, opening up numerous opportunities for efficient asset management, trading, and ownership transfer.
